In Coleraine, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland, the townland of the Waterside is situated within the Parish of Killowen. Both these areas are commonly referred to as Killowen and the Waterside. They form part of the western suburbs of Coleraine town. These two areas are separated from Coleraine town by the River Bann and are located between the Sandelford Bridge in the south to the railway bridge in the north. Although this site is
still open, there is more up to date material at ‘Old Killowen’ on Facebook.com
